Pic was taken on the same trip a nice 12 pound Tarpon Hal caught in a Bay near Keewaydin not far from where we caught the Snook. It was a surprise, we had been seeing some Tarpon but most were not eating. This one kinda came out from a little mangrove overhang and pounced on the White Hammerhead Jerkbait Fly. Unfortunately we missed the slam that day with Hal even though the boat caught a slam when Hal’s fishing partner boated a nice Red fish soon after Hal caught his Tarpon.
